Kalga village is a hidden gem in the Parvati Valley of Himachal Pradesh. The little hamlet is wedged deep in the alpine forests, entirely away from the mainstream tourist destinations. Famous for its apple orchards, most of the houses in the village are abandoned, giving it a quiet and serene aura. Snowcapped mountains surround the village.
It is a perfect destination to relax and cleanse yourself from the polluting and toxic city life. People gravitate towards Kalga because of its proximity to Kheerganga, Tosh, and Kasol. With a 360-degree view of the snowcapped mountains, beautiful alpine forests, houses dotted at a wide distance, occasional showers of rain, local delicacies, and the sheer isolation from the bustle of cities make Kalga the perfect place to unwind yourself.

In the past, I have worked with Decathlon, a sports company. In the company, among other roles I used to organize cycling trips where I would lead the group on various short and long distance routes within Delhi NCR. That was a great time as being an adventurer I love the adrenaline rush that sports gives. Along with that, the ability to share my passion with like minded people is what I always believed in and still do. And now doing it in the form of bringing the traveler’s community together called Escape Stories.
